Transport workers block Gazipur road

Transport workers blocked Dhaka-Mymenisngh highway for two hours on Tuesday morning protesting against implementation of the Road Transport Act.

Hundreds of bus workers took to the streets and put up a barricade from 8.00am to 10.00am in Sreepur area on the highway, causing immense sufferings to thousands of commuters.
