Trolley driver run over, killed in road accident

A trolley driver was killed as a vehicle ran over him on Satkhira-Jashore highway in Choyghoria area of Satkhira Sadar upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam, 26, a resident of Indira village of the sadar upazila.

Md Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station, quoted locals as saying that Kamrul was killed as a vehicle ran over him on Satkhira-Jashore highway in Choyghoria area in the morning.

Police later recovered the body and sent it to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
