Two bombs recovered from Paltan, Khamarbari

Senior Correspondent:  Law enforcers recovered two bombs from Paltan intersection and Khamarbari in the city on Tuesday night.

Shahbagh Police Station OC Abul Hasan said policemen recovered a bomb-like substance from in front of a police box at Paltan intersection around 11:00pm. They found a carton with an object with wires in it.

Later, members of the bomb disposal unit of police defused the bomb found in Paltan.

At Khamarbari end of Manik Miah Avenue another a bomb-like object was found near a traffic police box at night.
