Two cases filed against Salim Prodhan

Two cases under Money Laundering Act and Narcotics Control Act have been filed against online casino kingpin Salim Prodhan.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) filed the cases with Gulshan police station on Wednesday.

Gulshan police station Officer-in-Charge Kamruzzaman confirmed the matter to risingbd.

He said, two separate cases were filed by RAB. The accused will be produced with with evidences before the court seeking remand.

Earlier on October 1, RAB arrested him from a Bangkok-bound Thai Airways flight at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Later, the elite force, conducted a raid at Salim’s office cum residence in Dhaka’s Gulshan-2 and arrested his associates Aktaruzzaman, and Rokon.
