Two corona patients detected in Kushtia

Two people have been found to be infected with coronavirus or COVID-19 for the first time in Kushtia.

Confirming the matter to risingbd on Wednesday (April 22), Kushtia’s Civil Surgeon HM Anwarul Islam said the two people tested positive for coronavirus after their samples were tested at a lab of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST ). Both of them are male.

A decision will be taken later whether they will be treated at their homes or at the isolation unit of a hospital, the civil surgeon said.
