Two crushed under bus in Jashore

Two people including a Madrasah student died as a bus ran over them on Tuesday morning.

The accident took place around 10.00am at Mollikpur under Jhikargachha upazila in Jashore district.

The deceased were identified as Tarikul Islam, a carpenter and son of Alam Hossain of the locality, and Toiba, 8, a Madrasah student and daughter of Ismail Hossain.

According to sources, a Satkhira-bound bus from Jashore collided head-on with the motorcycle of Tarikul Islam, leaving him dead on the spot. At the same time, the bus ran over Toiba, leaving her also dead on the spot.
