Two crushed under train in Kushtia

Two people have been crushed under the wheels of a train at Katdohochar rail crossing under Mirpur upazila in Kushtia district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased are Kawsar, 35, son of Azgar Ali at Beshinagar village of Chatiyan union, and Mohibul, 40, of the same village.

Witnesses said the Khulna to Rajshahi route inter-city train Kapotakkha hit a trolley when it was crossing the rail line, leaving two people dead on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Poradaha GRP Police Station Jasim Uddin Khandakar confirmed the accident and said police recovered the two bodies.
