Two expatriates fined for violating home quarantine rules

Two expatriates were fined Tk 25,000 on Wednesday for breaching home quarantine rules at Kashiani in Gopalganj district.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Sabbir Ahmed, who operated a mobile court, fined the two persons.

Some expatriates have been kept in home quarantine in the upazila but two persons went out of home, he said.

Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus death on Wednesday. Four more people have been diagnosed with coronavirus, taking the number of Covid-19 cases in the country to 14.
