Two killed in Mymensingh road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed and one more person injured when a vehicle hit the motorbike carrying them in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh.

The accident took place in Hajir Bazar area on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway on Saturday (June 20) night.

The deceased were identified as Zakir Hossain, 25, and Ashraful Alam, 27, of the upazila while the injured was Hridoy.

Hridoy was initially taken to Bhaluka upazila health complex but shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital when his condition deteriorated.

Sub-inspector (SI) Hadiul Islam, in-charge of Bhoradoba Highway Police Outpost, confirmed the matter saying that the bodies were kept at the Bhaluka outpost.
