UP secretary killed in road accident

The secretary of a union parisahd has been killed in a road accident at Boda upazila in Panchagarh district.

The deceased is Asir Uddin, 55, secretary of Bamonhat union parishad and son of late Gaffar Uddin at Keranipara of the union.

According to sources, a vehicle of Sundarban Currier Service hit him when he was crossing a road around 9.00pm on Thursday on Dhaka-Panchagarh highway at Moidandighi. He died on the spot.
