Underground power supply launched in Sylhet

Foreign Affairs Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen MP inaugurated country’s first underground power supply line in Sylhet.

The minister inaugurated the project through unveiling a foundation stone beside main gate of Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar on Friday afternoon. Later, Abdul Momen joined a view exchange meeting with local newsmen.

He said, the project was implemented to make Sylhet as a developed city. He thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former finance minister Dr Abul Mal Muhith and power division.

Another project worth Tk2.53 will be implement to develop the power system in Sylhet, he added.
