United fire: 9 out of 11 fire extinguishers were date-expired

Nine out of 11 fire extinguishers at the isolation unit of United Hospital were date-expired, Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam said.

He came up with the allegation after visiting the hospital where five people, including a woman, died in a fire on Wednesday night.

He said necessary actions will be taken if investigation shows that the hospital was negligent.
