Univ student stabbed dead in Mymensingh

A student of Kazi Nazrul Islam University was stabbed to death at Tinkona Pukurpar area of Mymensingh City Corporation on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Touhidul Islam Khan, son of Saidul Islam Khan of Rameshwar village under Atpara upazila in Netrokona. He was a student of BBA final year of the university.

Mahmudul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said investigation is undergoing to uncover the mystery behind the killing. The body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Filing a case in this connection was under process while the report was published, according to the OC.
