Upazila education officer killed in road accident

Md. Jasim Uddin Sheikh, upazila primary education officer of Noakhali sadar upazila, has been killed in a road accident.

The accident took in Maijdee area of Noakhali town on Friday.

According to sources, a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw hit his rickshaw when he was returning home from the local market. At that time, he fell from rickshaw and received serious head injuries.

Locals first took him to Noakhali General Hospital where doctors referred him to Dhaka. However, doctors declared him dead when he was admitted to Square Hospital.
