Walton offers gold edition bat, ball with Mashrafe signature

Staff Correspondent: The country’s electronics giant Walton fresh announcement for its fridge’s customers centering the cricket world cup 2019 under its ongoing nationwide digital campaign.

Under the campaign, customers, who will register their refrigerator and freezer just after the purchase from any Walton plaza, distributor outlet or E-plaza, are likely to get gold edition symbolic cricket bat-ball, which are labelled with the autograph of Bangladesh National Cricket Team ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, also the brand ambassador of Walton.

In addition, Walton fridge customers also offered sure cash vouchers up to Tk 1 lakh or various sorts of appliances as free such as fridge, television etc.

This offer will be come into effective from June 1 and will be continued throughout the Cricket World Cup.

Golam Murshed, executive director and chief executive officer (CEO) of Walton refrigerator, said that Mashrafe Bin Mortaza inked a deal with Walton as brand ambassador just before leaving for World Cup.



As per the deal, he said, the renowned cricket all-rounder will take part in various promotional activities of Walton brand for the next two years.

Centering two mega events- ongoing Cricket World Cup and the upcoming Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, he added that Walton made the announcement of symbolic gold edition bat-ball and cricket bat with Mashrafe’s autograph for its fridge customers.

He hoped that this initiative will make the cricket world cup more enjoyable for Walton fridge customers.

Shahiduzzaman Rana, product manager of Walton refrigerator, said that Walton set a target of selling out two million units of fridges in the local market.

To achieve the target, he informed that timely and strategic working-plans have been taken in everywhere like releasing environment-friendly huge energy efficient new models of frost and non-frost refrigerators, conducting digital campaign season 4 across the country.



As a result, he noted that the company is registering outstanding growth in the sales of its fridge in every month of the current year.

At now, Walton is supplying 101 models of frost and 20 models of non-frost refrigerator, 16 models of freezer and 2 models of beverage cooler.

The ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labelled world-class Walton appliances are being exported to different countries of the Asian, Middle Eastern and African regions.

Now, Walton have greatly focused on exporting to the potential markets of the world’s developed nations like Australia, America and Europe.

Walton fridge’s customers are now enjoying 12 years guaranty on compressors as well as one-year replacement guaranty.
