We are ready to implement lockdown: Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said all preparations have been taken to implement the decision to enforce zone-wise lockdown in his city corporation area.

"We have taken all preparations to implement lockdown. But we will be able to make it possible only for zone-wise lockdown," the mayor said after paying homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait at Dhanmondi-32 in the capital on Tuesday (June 23), marking 71st founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League.
