We have to use Bangla in our daily life

The month of Language Movement February has begun. The special month has come again in the life of Bengali nation again.

February is the month of mourning. Yet, it is a matter of dignity for the nation as only the Bangalees have sacrificed lives for their own language.

Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano Ekushe February, Ami Ki Bhulite Pari (My Brothers Blood Spattered 21 February, Can I forget the twenty-first of February?).

The whole nation will pay tribute to the language martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of language.

Moder Gorob, Moder Asha, A Moir Bangla Bhasa! Tomar Kole, Tomar Bole, Kotoi Shanti Bhalobasa! The line of poet expresses inner thoughts of Bengalis. This song of Atul Prasad Sen intermingled with the history of Bengali language movement. On February 21, 1952, Salam, Jabbar, Barkat, Shafiq, Rafiq sacrificed their lives during the tough movement demanding Bangla to be the state language. We achieved the expected mother language status and socio-economic and political inspiration for their sacrifice. Thus, the Bengali nation found the way of freedom movement. And the nation emerged as an independent country after nine months long war against Pakistan.

A month-long country's largest book fair has been started at Bangla Academy in this month February. Several social, political and cultural organizations have chalked out various types of programmes.

Language is better creation of any nation. The language is the best way to promote talent of a nation. Side-by-side, it's the best sign of a talented nation. Basically, it was the first protest and awakening of Bengalis against colonial mastery and oppression. Bengalis expressed their inner mutiny against Pakistan through the movement establishing mother language. And the unity of spirit got a form from that movement.February 21 has recognized as international mother language day. The main spirit of Ekush was Bengla in all sectors in the country so that people can write and read everything in their own language. But, Bangla is not opened in all sectors yet.

So, in this language month, we hope that all of us will try to use Bangla in all sectors.
