We want leadership with clean image in party: Obaidul Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said, “We want leadership with clean image in the party. We want fresh blood. Leaving controversial persons with the co-operation of young-old, we want new leadership in Swechhasebak League.”

Obaidul Quader made the opinion while addressing a view exchange meeting at Awami League president’s Dhanmondi office in the capital on Friday afternoon.

Aiming the party leaders and activists, Obaidul Quader said, party has ups and down. Everyone will have to follow party rules and the order of the party chief. The party cannot be responsible for the misdeeds of 2/4 persons.    

Meanwhile, the AL general secretary directed the party men to make the upcoming conference cheerful.
