Wife of upazila parishad chairman dies of dengue

Bandarban Correspondent: Wife of Ruma Upazila Parishad Chairman of Bandarban Hill District Uhla Ching Marma died after being diagnosed with dengue.

The wife of Uhla Ching Marma, also the Ruma Upazila Awami League President of Bandarban Hill District, is known to be Domeching Marma (Babi).

Domeching passed away at 5:00 am on Thursday while undergoing treatment at CSCR hospital of Chattogram city.

She left behind her husband, two sons and a host of relatives to mourn her death.

According to family sources, Domeching was first admitted to Ruma upazila health complex on September 10 after she was diagnosed with dengue. Later, she was shifted to CSCR hospital of the port city for better treatment but died this early morning while undergoing treatment there.

Regarding the death, Ruma UNO office assistant Mitu Das said her body is being taken to Bandarban from Chattogram.
