Will stand by the party in evil days: Sohel Taj

Senior Correspondent: Former State Minister for Home Affairs Sohel Taj said that he will stand by Awami League, the ruling party of the country, in evil days.

“I’m not currently in politics. But I’m a person of a political family. Politics in our blood. The country is built with our blood. There is no scope to go away from it,” he added.
Sohel Taj came up with the reply when asked whether he will involve with the party directly in future at a press briefing in the capital’s Sonargaon Hotel on Thursday.

The briefing was held as Sohel Taj is set to launch a TV programme over ‘Health, Eating Habits and Social Awareness’ from September.

He also replied diplomatically when asked about if he was awarded by any post in next council of Awami League.

“Our family always remains with Awami League in evil days and will continue it. This is a tradition of our family. I will also stand by the country and the party during evil days.
