Woman found dead in Rajshahi drain

Police recovered body of a woman from a drain of Maria village under Charghat upazila of Rajshahi on Friday noon.

The deceased was known as Aklima Begum, 50, wife of late Abul Kashem of the village.

The body was sent to morgue of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) for autopsy.

Nur-e-Alam, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Charghat Circle, said we primarily guessed that the woman was strangulated to death.
