Young man shot dead in Chattogram

A young man has been shot dead by his rivals over establishing supremacy at Charandip union in Chattogram'sBoalkhaliupazila.

The killing took place early Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad NasirUddin, 34.

After the incident, the police conducted a raid and arrested two persons with firearms.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Boalkhali ThanaAbdul Karim said a group of miscreants entered his house and shot him dead.

The arrestees are Shawkat and JasimUddin. A pistol, a LG, five rounds of bullets, two cartridges and some local weapons were recovered from them.
