Youth crushed under train in Jashore

A young man was crushed to death under the wheels of a train near Jhikargachha Rail Station on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Ibrahim Hossain 25, hailing from Purondopur village of the upazila.

According to sources, a Benapole-bound train from Khulna hit Ibrahim as he was sat on the rail line around 8:30 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

He was mentally disabled, police said.
