Youth dies inside pharmacy while buying medicine

A youth has died inside a pharmacy while buying medicine in Vatara area of Dhaka on Wednesday (April 29) noon.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rashid, 35.

Being informed, Vatara Thana police rushed to the spot and brought the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue after wrapping it with polythene.

Police said Rashid went to Big Pharma and Departmental Store located in 100-feet Notun Bazar area of the capital to buy medicine but died inside the pharmacy.

Police suspected that the youth had a stroke.

DMCH police outpost in-charge Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter and said the reason behind the death could not be ascertained at this moment.
