Youth hacked dead in Noakhali

A youth has been hacked dead by miscreants at Begumganj in Noakhali.

The deceased was identified as Kefaet Ullah Hasan, 18, son of Hedaet Ullah at Bataiya village under Manoharganj  upazila in Cumilla district.

Kefaet was an employee of a clothes store at Bagumganj.

According to sources, miscreants hacked Kefaet Ullah around 8.00pm on Sunday in front of Agriculture Training Institute, leaving him seriously injured.

He was immediately taken to Noakhali General Hospital where he died at night.

Officer-in-Charge of Begumganj Model Thana Md Harun Or Rashid Chowdhury confirmed the news.
