Youth hacked dead in Rayerbazar

Senior Correspondent: A youth was hacked to death by miscreants in Rayerbazar area of the capital Dhaka on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Md Yasin, 16. He used to work at a local tea stall.

Sub-Inspector Bacchu Mia, in- charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost, said, “Yasin was hacked around 10:30 pm in Nimtoli area of Rayerbazar. Later, he was rushed to the DMCH where duty doctor pronounced him dead around 11:30 pm.”

Reason behind his death could not be known immediately, he said.
