Youth stabbed dead in Chattogram

A young man named Mohammad Ripon, 28, was stabbed dead on the 31st night in port city Chattogram.  

The incident took place around 11.00 pm on Tuesday in Sher Shah area of Bayazid Bostami Thana in the port city.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bayazid Bostami Police Station Priton Sarkar said that Ripon was stabbed by his opponent over a previous hostility. He died after taking to the hospital. Two suspects were arrested in the incident.

The body has been sent to Chattogram Medical College morgue for autopsy, he added.
