Country gets Tk 9500cr as remittance during Eid

Bangladesh received 87 crore 71 lakh US dollars (Tk 9500 crore) in remittances during the first 12 days of the current month.

On average, the country gets 7 crore 31 lakh US dollars every day.

During the first 12 days of April, the country received 7 crore 20 lakh 80 thousand US dollars through state-owned banks, 4 crore 84 lakh 20 thousand US dollars through specialised banks, 75 crore 39 lakh 30 thousand US dollars through private banks, and 26 lakh 70 thousand US dollars through other banks, sources said.
