Remittance hits three-year high

Expatriate Bangladeshis sent around 254.2 crore remittance during the month of June, which is highest in the past 36 months.

According to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data, Bangladesh received US$2392 crore in inward remittance in the recently concluded fiscal year 2023-24 (FY24), with US$2542  crore coming in June.

Besides, the country witnessed the highest remittance inflow in FY24 in the last three years.
