Gold price hits new record

Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) has announced the new price of gold. 

It has raised the price of top-rated gold by Tk 3,044 to Tk 1,38,708 per bhori, making a new record for the inflating price of the yellow metal in the market.

The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of BAJUS took the decision at a meeting on Wednesday.

A press release signed by committee Chairman MA Masudur Rahman said this.

New prices will be effective from Thursday.
