Egg prices drop, vegetable prices will drop soon

Egg prices in the market have decreased due to increased supply. 

Per dozen eggs were sold at Tk 155 to 160 in the retail market. In the previous week, it was Tk 180-190.  

A press release signed by Information Officer of the ministry of commerce Abdul Malek said on Thursday (October 10) that egg, onion and potato prices in the market have slightly decreased.

According to the notification, two teams of the ministry are supervising the market to keep the prices of daily necessities stable and control the market situation. During the drive, a monitoring team fined a shop owner Tk 7,000.
