Gold prices decline

Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) has reduced the gold prices.
The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of the association took the decision at a meeting on Monday.
According to the decision, per bhori (11.664 grams) 22-carat gold will be sold at Tk 1,42,161, which price was Tk 1,43,526.
The price of 21-carat gold will be Tk 1,35,699 and 18-carat gold will be Tk 1,16,313.
New tariffs will come into effect on Tuesday.
Prices of silver, however, remained unchanged.
