Remittance increases by 33 % 

Remittances sent home by Bangladeshis living abroad increased by 33.32 per cent in the July-September period of 2024-25 fiscal from the same period of previous fiscal.

A report of Bangladesh Bank said this.

According to the central bank report, remittances in the first quarter of the current fiscal 2024-25 came about 654 crore 20 lakh 60 thousand dollars. Remittances in the same period of the previous fiscal year was 490 crore 71 lakh dollars.
