Turkish Ambassador meets Commerce Adviser

Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen met Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin at his office at the Ministry of Commerce at Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to bilateral trade and commerce as well as the upcoming visit of the Turkish Trade Minister to Bangladesh in January, 2025.

Mentioning the long-standing brotherly relations between the two countries, the Commerce Adviser said that the upcoming visit of the Turkish Minister is significant while Bangladesh would undertake plan to make the Minister's visit successful.

He said that Bangladesh would take efforts to avail highest possible trade facilities from Turkey.

Mentioning that Turkey wants to deepen further the bilateral relations with Bangladesh, Ramis said time has come to deepen further the bilateral relations between the two countries through creating more scopes in trade and commerce.

In this regard, Turkey is keen to hold a dialogue among the businessmen of the two countries to seize the opportunities, he added.

In this regard, the Commerce Adviser assured the Ambassador of taking necessary initiatives.
