Soybean oil price hiked by Tk8 per litre

The government has increased the price of soybean oil by Tk8 per litre.

After the increase, the bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk175 per litre and a litre of loose soybean oil will cost Tk157.

Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin announced the revised price on Monday (December 9) after a meeting with edible oil traders.

Previously, bottled soybean oil was priced at Tk167, and loose soybean oil was priced at Tk149.
