Independent directors appointed for 3 Beximco companies 

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has appointed independent directors for Beximco Group’s companies- Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited and Shinepukur Ceramics Limited. 

In order to protect the interests of investors and considering the overall situation, independent directors have been appointed for the Beximco Group companies. These independent directors will hold office for the next 3 years. 

An order in this regard signed by BSEC Chairman Khandaker Rashed Maksud was issued on Tuesday (December 31). 

The order has been infirmed to the Managing Directors of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chattogram Stock Exchange (CSE).

Earlier, on December 11, at the meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on Review of Labor and Business Conditions in Industrial Establishments of Beximco Industrial Park, it was decided that BSEC would appoint independent directors for Beximco companies.
