LPG cylinder price increased   

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been slightly raised.

According to the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC), the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Tk 4 to Tk 1,459.

The decision came on Tuesday following a change in the structure of the value-added tax (VAT) by the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

The BERC announced that the price of LPG per kg has been set at Tk 121.56, up from Tk 121.19, showing an increase of Tk 0.37.
