Gold price increases again

Jewellers raised the price of gold by Tk 1,516 to Tk 99,144 a bhari on the local market.

The Bangladesh Jewellers’ Samity in a press release revealed the matter on Saturday (April 1). The fresh prices will come into effect Sunday (April 2).

According to BAJUS, the price of 22-karat gold has been increased to Tk 99,144 a bhari from Tk 97,628 a bhari.

The price of 21-karat gold has been increased to Tk 94,654 a bhari from Tk 93,195 a bhari and that of 18-karat gold to Tk 81,123 a bhari from Tk 79,898 a bhari.

The price of traditional gold has been raised to Tk 67,593 a bhari from Tk 66,543 a bhari, the release said.
