JnU student Abantika’s suicide: Assistant proctor suspended

Assistant proctor Deen Islam, has been suspended temporarily and student Amman Siddiqui has been expelled over the suicidal death of Jagannath University (JnU) student Fairuz Abantika.
Following the incident, the students of JnU staged a demo at the main gate of the university on Friday midnight. The university's vice-chancellor professor Dr. Sadeka Halim assured the dismissal of the accused after investigation.
The vice-chancellor said Action will be taken against all. The university runs according to a law. The accused assistant proctor has been suspended as per the law. He will be sacked after investigation. We cannot do that avoiding the law.
It is known that the student of Jagannath University (JnU) committed 'suicide' after posting a suicidal note on Facebook blaming the varsity teacher and a classmate in Cumilla around 10:00pm on Friday. Family members immediately rushed her to Sadar Hospital where she was declared dead around 11pm by the on-duty doctor.
