Dr Badruzzaman appointed as BUET VC, Dr Hasib Pro-VC

Dr ABM Badruzzaman, a professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), has been appointed as the vice-chancellor (VC) of the university.

Besides, Professor Dr Abdul Hasib Chowdhury of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at BUET has been appointed as the pro-vice-chancellor of the university.

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued two separate notifications on Thursday (September 12), confirming their appointments.

With the approval of the President and Chancellor, Dr ABM Badruzzaman has been appointed as the VC of BUET and Professor Dr Abdul Hasib Chowdhury appointed as the pro-vice-chancellor of the university in accordance with the university’s law.
