Khulna jute mill’s godown catches fire

A fire broke out at the godown of Popular Jute Mills on Friday evening at Rajapur village under Rupsa upazila in Khulna.

The fire originated around 5:30pm. Being informed, two units of Khulna Naval Fire Station rushed to the spot to douse the fire, said Khulna Naval Fire Station Officer Belal Hossain.

Assistant Director of Khulna Fire Service and Civil Defence Md Faruk Hossain Sikdar said a total of seven units are trying to douse the fire.
