Azad allegedly picked up by DB

Azad Hossain, who stamped on 43 ballots in the open during a by-election in Lakshmipur-3 constituency, has been allegedly picked up by Detective Branch (DB) of police.
His brother Alamgir Hossain, a Juba League leader, M Masudur Rahman Masud, general secretary of Chandraganj thana unit of BCL, Shahanara Begum Rumi, a UP member, informed this to journalists on Friday evening (November 10).
Alamgir Hossain alleged that his bother Azad Hossain was picked up by DB police around 6:00am on Friday. But the DB police did not confirm his arrest.
A video of the former leader of BCL went viral on Facebook where he is seen stamping on the ‘boat’ symbol in ballot papers in the open during a by-election in Lakshmipur-3 constituency.
The 57-second video, which went viral on social media on Monday, shows the former BCL leader stamping on 43 ballots. Another person was seen helping him.
