Father, son killed in Munshiganj road accident

A man and his son were killed and three others were injured when a trolley rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Munshiganj sadar upazila on Monday morning (November 13).

The deceased were known as Dadan Sarker, 32, and his son Honain Sarker.

Police and witnesses said Munshiganj-bound CNG collided head-on with the trolley in Torki of the upazila area around 11:00 am, leaving five people injured. Later, they were taken to Munshiganj General Hospital where the two people died under treatment.

Munshiganj Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aminul Islam confirmed the matter.
