Minibus set ablaze in Gazipur’s Kaliakair

A minibus stationed near Dhaka-Tangail highway in the Safipur area of Gazipur’s Kaliakair upazila was set on fire by miscreants early Thursday (November 16).

The incident took place around 4 am.

Akbar Ali Khan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kaliakoir Police Station, said a minibus of Taqwa Paribahan was set on fire by miscreants. No casualties were reported in this connection although most parts of the bus were burnt in the fire.

Police are yet to detain anybody in this connection.
