2 killed in M’singh autorickshaw-motorcycle collision

Two people were killed as a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided with a motorcycle at Tarakanda upazila in Mymensingh on Thursday (November 16).

The accident took place at Tarakakanda Dakshin Bazar Bridge on the Mymensingh-Sherpur road.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tarakanda Police Station Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the news.

The OC said, the two persons were going to Phulpur riding on a motorcycle. On the way, when they reached in that area, it collided head-on with a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The two people died on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies, he said, adding that legal action will be taken in this regard.
