Mashrafe collects AL nomination form for Narail-2

Former national cricket team captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has collected ruling Awami League’s nomination form to contest in the upcoming 12th general election from his home district of Narail.

Mashrafe, arguably the most popular cricketer in the country, bought the form for Narail-2.

On behalf of the fan favourite sportsman, Narail district AL President Advocate Subhas Chandra Bose collected the nomination form the party’s central office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Monday (November 20).

Shafikul Islam Shafik, who has been tasked with selling nomination forms under Khulna division, confirmed the news.
