Rangpur metropolitan BNP calls dawn-to-dusk hartal Wednesday

BNP’s Rangpur Metropolitan Committee has announced dawn-to-dusk hartal on Wednesday (November 22) in protest against the jail sentences of its five leaders including BNP’s joint secretary general Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel.

Acting convener of the metropolitan BNP Shahidul Islam Mizu announced the hartal in a video message on Tuesday (November 21).

The announcement for the hartal came amid the 48-hour countrywide blockade called by the party demanding the caretaker government and protesting the schedule announced for the upcoming 12th parliamentary election.
