Swechchhasebak League leader hacked to death in Ctg

A Swechchhasebak League leader was hacked to death by miscreants in Satkania upazila of Chattogram on Tuesday night (November 21).

The deceased was known as Shahadat Hossain, 34, general secretary of Sadaha union Swechchhasebak League.

Police and local sources said a local drug trading gang threatened Shahadat Hossain due to his protest in the illegal business. Centering the issue, the drug traders attacked him with lethal weapon around 11:00 pm.

Later, locals rushed to spot and took him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.

Satkania police station inspector(investigation) Md Ataul Haque Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
