BNP leader Dr Bachchu arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested BNP Central Committee Co-Health Affairs Secretary and Doctors Association of Bangladesh Advisor Dr SM Rafiqul Bacchu.

A team of RAB-1 arrested him from Dhirashorom area of Gazipur city on Friday noon. He was going to Sreepur of Gazipur after attending a program in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka.

Company Commander of RAB-1 Major Yeasir Arafat Hossain confirmed the matter.

There were two arson and explosives cases with Sreepur against him, the RAB officer said.
