Four-storey building tilts in Ctg

A four-storey building tilted in Oxygen Raufabad area of Chattogram city on Saturday evening, triggering panic among locals.

The building tilted around 6:00pm, Jalal Ahmed, control room operator of Agrabad Fire Service.

A fire service unit has rushed to the spot and surrounded the building. They have also evacuated residents of four buildings including this one.  

“At 6.18 pm, we received a call about the building. The building tilted slightly, fell on a building next to it. However, no one was injured. As far as we know, there is work going on a cannel next to the building. I suspect this could lead to the building getting tilted. However, more details will be known later,” said Jalal.
